June 2023 Construction Update — Riverview Elementary

 

PROGRESS TO DATE

  • Classroom and corridor flooring is 95% complete

  • Office remodel is 50% complete

  • Ceiling grid and border tile is almost complete

  • HVAC for addition is 95% complete

  • Electrical rough in for addition is complete

  • Exterior concrete and asphalt is complete

  • Exterior veneer installation  is complete

  • Structural steel installation is complete

  • Plumbing rough in with insulation is complete

  • 90% of HVAC rough in with insulation for addition is complete

  • 90% of electrical rough in for addition is complete

  • 20% rough in for new generator is complete

Design Work is 95% Complete at Riverview Elementary

Exterior Rendering

As Riverview’s Design process nears completion, plans are coming together nicely. Interior finishes for windows, doors and flooring have been selected to match existing finishes.

Areas of work at Riverview include:

  • adding two classrooms and a resources room

  • upgrading front entry and ADA access (doors, stage)

  • LED lighting,

  • air handling units

  • fire and safety systems

  • plumbing

  • casework and cubbies.

Design Work is 50% Complete at Riverview Elementary

The Riverview Design is halfway through the process and, after weeks of design and user group meetings, plans are coming together nicely. A notable development was the decision to relocate the new addition to where the tennis courts are currently located in order to save space and keep grade-level classrooms near each other.
